You can also purchase wine by the bottle, to take home or drink here!
It was a 2001 trip to Paris that started my love of wine. After drinking several glasses of a delicious white wine, I learned that what I was enjoying was called Sancerre. Once back home in Colorado, I visited my local wine shop where the owner answered my questions, sold me some fantastic wines and set me on a path to becoming a life-long wine lover.
This love of wine turned into a hobby which turned into a part-time job that became a full-time job at a wine shop and then two levels of the International Sommelier Guild classes.
The next step on my path was to move closer to a wine-growing region, so I left the Rocky Mountains and moved to Oregon, landing on the coast and working with one of Oregon’s premier wine distribution companies.
My journey has now brought me to create Brut Wine Bar—a comfortable, inviting atmosphere to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine (or beer or cider) along with a selection of snacks and retail bottles to go.
I feel like I've come full circle—enjoying a wonderful glass of wine with great new friends!
“Wine represents to me
sharing and good times and a celebration of life.
It is always around happy occasions
with family and friends and centered around joy.
What better item to be involved then something
that represents all these wonderful things.”
